Hold your horses!

did you know...

  • For your horses and your safety stay on the less than 50" trails! Do NOT ride off trails. The terrain can form holes which can be hidden by grass or debris.

  • Turn around at Northern-most dispersed campsite, do NOT go further!

  • The ferry will take your vehicle and trailer across the water, keep horses inside the trailer, however, you may exit your vehicle during ferry ride.

  • Island is a VERY popular destination for side-by-side and Jeeps, they use the wider trails on the island but can be heard from all over.

  • Glen Cove is a beautiful beach, located on North end of Glen Cove Rd.

  • Managed by: DNR

  • Cared for by: Unknown
